Apprenticeship and dual studies.
Where theory and practice complement each other perfectly.

People who are done with school are often happy to finally get to work / begin working for real. If you start an apprenticeship or dual study program with us, you can do just that. You will experience the daily work routine, while also advancing your personal development through theoretical knowledge. In this way, we give you the best possible preparation for a successful future. You can look forward to being part of a strong team in international travel retail from the very beginning, a team that wants to keep inspiring its customers. Our headquarters, our logistics centres, and our airport shops offer a wide range of different professions/jobs. For instance in Purchasing, Retail, IT, Logistics, Marketing, Human Resources, and Sales. Gebr. Heinemann has apprenticeship programs in all areas. Gain an overview of your possibilities here and make your selection.

Further your development.
We'll show you how.

Find out what you really enjoy doing, what you’re good at, and what you’re interested in. Once you've pinpointed that, you're ready to get started. We will train you, help you to become really good and further improve your skills. You will learn to think in an interdisciplinary, integrated way and quickly take on responsibility yourself. Your training will be varied and individual. We care about every single apprentice. We support you wherever we can, and treat each other in an open and respectful manner. Regular feedback meetings help you identify your strengths. All this empowers you to lay the foundations for an enduring and successful career at Gebr. Heinemann. We are proud of the fact that we have won several awards from Hamburg's Chamber of Commerce for "outstanding achievements in dual vocational training." (For three years in a row, at least one of our apprentices was honoured for "Best Chamber of Commerce Exam” by the Peter and Emmi Mattfeld Foundation). But we're even prouder of the many great colleagues* who once started with us as apprentices or with a dual study program.
