Since 1879 the company has been managed by members of the Heinemann family. Today, the fourth generation is represented by Claus and Gunnar Heinemann on the supervisory board and the fifth generation is represented by Co-CEO Max Heinemann on the executive board.

Management is in the hands of Co-Chief Executive Officer (Co-CEO) Max Heinemann, Co-CEO Raoul Spanger, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Inken Callsen, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Dr. Kai Deneke and Chief Sales Officer (CSO) Florian Seidel.
